About USHA App
This App was developed and inspired by co-founder Ash’s wife while she was pregnant. After going through all those challenging situations and proper health care, they decided to develop a system that would help thousands of Bangladeshi mothers. So not only did they give birth to their child but also to a new system application named the USHA App.
No one in this world would want their child to be unhealthy after struggling for nine months. However, every woman needs pieces of advice during their pregnancy period to keep them and their child healthy and safe. In such cases, the USHA app can assist you with all such needs. In addition, it can help you in several ways with some of the best advice for the mother and her baby.
How did we help pregnant women?
USHA app shares information that every pregnant woman needs during their pregnancy period. The App provides information, including hospitals around them, side-effects they can expect during different stages, what the fetus size should be, and more. They can also reach out to healthcare providers for their specific concerns and issues.
Constant care is required for every woman during their pregnancy period. But for some women, visiting doctors and taking proper rest gets difficult. In such cases, the USHA app can prove to be very useful. They can access the App anytime, anywhere, and post any queries that they may have. They can also contact women who have gone through this before – a large community of women have already experienced pregnancy and know what’s better for a pregnant woman. Therefore, women can also put their queries in front of them and get them adequately answered. The App also tracks the possibility of birth as per the information provided by you.
Our Process
Challenges we faced
1. Setting the app structure
The first challenge that we faced straight from the ideation stage was getting adequate information to users’ queries as per their pregnancy duration. Moreover, creating an algorithm to sync all the information in real-time took us a few days to grasp.
2. Meeting Deadline
Our biggest challenge was to complete this app within the timeframe of 1.5 months. There was no chance of missing our deadline as the app launch was already scheduled. We worked alongside our clients on every stage of app development. We ensured to be transparent with our client and our team of developers, designers, and testers ensured that every app element was appropriately tested before moving on to the next and completed it on time.
Conclusion
The application provides help for new parents in many ways: health care, availability of doctors, proper advice from experienced women, and the cost of every checkup and doctor appointment. Users can also log notes throughout their pregnancy to share with their healthcare provider or partner if they notice any new health symptoms along the way. In addition, users can share their thoughts with thousands of other parents, get regular pregnancy updates about their baby’s progress and their health, and chat in real-time with other parents.
In addition, it plays a significant role in women’s empowerment by providing a certain paycheque to all those Bangladeshi women who work with them. Therefore, the App can prove helpful for a large women’s community and can assist you during your pregnancy period with all small to significant pieces of advice.
